The bellyee, by locally made, eco-sustainable, Byron Bay-based store Village Cloth is a modern adaption of the traditional Japanese haramaki it is used for both practical purposes to keep the kidneys warm, vital for optimum kidney health and as a fashion accessory.
The whole range is perfect for winter layering. My hip skirt arrived in the mail last week and I haven't stopped wearing (and washing) it.The organic cotton fabric is soft but strong, the cut is flattering and it hasn't lost its shape at all after several washes.
The bellye and leggees are next on the list.
...village cloth clothing is basically about feeling and being comfortable.
a by product of this is that you end up looking good because you radiate from the inside out...sounds a bit cliched these days, but its true...meandering through the village is a place for ramblings about wandering around, seeing interesting things, meeting interesting people...and anything else...
THE ROAD AHEAD IS MUCH CLEARER IF YOU FOCUS ON THAT WHICH IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU...
